Privacy
Nudgez is a Mac app from Recurz, Inc. (“Recurz”, “we”). It runs on your Mac. Your calendar never comes to us: Nudgez has no server, no account and no analytics. This policy covers the app and nudgez.recurz.ai.
What Nudgez reads, on your Mac
- Calendars you allow in macOS. With your permission, Nudgez reads today's and tomorrow's events from the calendars in System Settings › Internet Accounts, to show and remind you of meetings.
- Google Calendar, if you connect it. If you add a Google account in Nudgez, it asks Google for read-only access to your calendars and reads event times, titles, attendees, locations and meeting links straight from Google to your Mac.
- Whether you're in a call. Nudgez checks whether your microphone or camera is in use and whether a meeting app is running, so it stops reminding you once you join. It never records, listens to or sees anything.
Where it's kept
Event details stay in your Mac's memory and are refreshed every minute; Nudgez keeps no copy of your calendar. Your Google sign-in is stored in your Mac's Keychain. Settings are stored on your Mac. None of it is sent to Recurz or anyone else.
Google user data
Nudgez uses Google Calendar data only to show your upcoming meetings and remind you of them. It does not transfer that data to anyone, use it for advertising, use it to train AI models, or let any person read it. Nudgez's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
This website
nudgez.recurz.ai has no cookies, ads or tracking scripts. Cloudflare, which hosts it, processes standard request logs such as IP address and browser type to deliver and protect the site.
Your choices
- Turn off any calendar in Nudgez Settings, or remove calendar access in System Settings › Privacy & Security › Calendars.
- Remove a Google account in Nudgez Settings › Accounts. Nudgez deletes its sign-in from your Keychain and asks Google to revoke it. You can also revoke it at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
- Delete the app to remove everything it stored.
Children
Nudgez isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.
